The Jutland Offensive – Trench Crusade

The year is 1914. The forces of hell swarm through the Hellmouth of the North, held in check by the forces of the Kalmar Union. Heretic Naval Fleets attempt to push through to the Baltic Sea from the North Sea to bolster the infernal incursion. Only the sea defenses of the Jutland peninsula can hold them in check and prevent the Heretics from breaking through en masse. Or worse, capturing the peninsula and establishing a foothold at the mouth of the Baltic.

Classified intel has been received, giving word of a heretic plot to sabotage the defenses and sow chaos through the peninsula. The faithful have sent troops from all corners; the forces of hell approach from land and sea. Will you side with the faithful? Or will you fight under the banners of the fallen?

What is Trench Crusade?

Trench Crusade is a tabletop wargame set in a blasphemously alternate WW1 era created by artist Mike Franchina with rules by acclaimed game designer Tuomas Pirinen and brought to life by James Sherriff and some of the greatest creative talents in wargaming. Players take command of the forces of heaven and hell, leading skirmish size warbands in daring assaults and devious counter operations on the fringes of the meat grinder that is the frontline.

The Jutland Offensive aims to bring the grim darkness of the Trench Crusade world to the East Coast. Rally your army and fight the great war!

RULES FORMAT:

We’re playing with the most up to date Trench Crusade rules as at 1st July 2025. If this changes we’ll let you know as soon as possible.

NUMBER OF GAMES:

5 – Mixed scenarios.

A player pack with scenario-specific details will be sent out closer to the event.

SIZE OF GAMES:

A 700 ducat force as per the rulebook. All official variant lists are currently accepted; if you’re not sure of the legality of your list, please reach out to us and we will clarify.

This is a friendly event and we strongly encourage people to bring thematic and enjoyable lists.

WHAT TO BRING:

– An assembled warband. We aren’t asking for show armies. If it’s assembled and based, we’ll accept it. Paint is a bonus!

– Dice, Tape measures and your army rules.

HOW THE DAY WILL RUN:

Doors open at 10:00 for player registration, with the aim to start at 10:45 after a quick introductory speech. We’ll break for lunch around 13:00 (this may be subject to change, but timing will be confirmed on the day), and announce results at 18:00.

REFUNDS:

We will do our best to help if your circumstances change and you can’t attend. No refund can be processed after 1st July.
